Biography

Thomas Klaps, professionally known as Klaps, is a Belgian DJ and techno producer hailing from Belgium, and currently residing in Houthalen. His passion for electronic music ignited at the age of eight when his father gifted him a record player, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

Over the years, Klaps has established himself in the electronic music scene with energetic productions and dynamic DJ sets. He has performed at renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor, and Pukkelpop, where he delivered a memorable performance in the Boiler Room. His music has gained support from industry leaders like Pan-Pot, Dubfire, Luigi Madonna, and Charlotte de Witte.

He has released music on Reinier Zonneveld’s label, Filth on Acid, and launched his own label, Get In Line, focusing on powerful groove techno.

Klaps continues to evolve as an artist, aiming to tour globally and share his music with a wider audience. His dedication to his craft and the techno genre is evident in his dynamic performances and productions.
